I love giving people visits in their homes, gardens, ateliers, or studios—wherever they feel most at ease. In order to capture a subject's complete personality and beauty, I let them blend into their environment and the objects and places with which they have relationships. As I add impromptu embellishments to the composition, the result can be highly imaginative, intuitive, and startling.
